A magneficent record with which one can sit somewhere remote and just take the whole world in. The way the artist made a 44 minute song still interesting and dynamic throughout the whole record testifies of his genial artistic ability. sehnsuchtleo

Rarely do I ever find an artist that completely engulfs my rotation of music. When my friend Christian introduced me to Phil via “The Glow, Pt 2” I discovered a whole new world of ideas and experimentation I’d never heard from the emo rap or pop punk artist I listened to before. Heart felt but cryptic and blunt lyricism mixed with a mad science of tapes and recording. God bless Mr.Elverum for his wonderful projects. Each one contains a new universe of sounds to get lost in. bourbongaze

This album is beautiful, and it feels like a musical hug. I keep coming back to it, and despite it being relatively brief, I think it’s a complete and cohesive project. therealrincallinen953

Probably the greatest album of all time. A groundbreaking 6 and 1/2 hours of the musical progression of dementia. Truly beautiful and utterly terrifying. It makes you appreciate your sanity and life so much more after listening. Jacqueline Jones
